Course Aims:
This Certified Sports First Aid Course is a must for all Managers, Coaches, Mentors, Teachers, Sports Participants, and Referees in all sporting disciplines and levels of performance. This course is unique in its design and presentation ensuring you have the correct knowledge both in theory and practice to deal with sporting emergencies.
Course Content:
This course using the latest in teaching presentation techniques from IHF & AHA and you will be shown how to deal with common every day sporting injuries from School and Club to Inter county level. The major life threatening conditions such as: Heart Attack, Stroke, SCA (Sudden Cardiac Arrest), and choking etc. will be covered. You will learn how to deal with SCA both on and off the field of play. You will learn with theory and practice on how to perform correct CPR and use an AED with confidence.
Course Certification:
Participants will be issued with a Sports First Aid Certificate from First Aid Direct.
Cost:
Cost is €135 per participant attending privately and €475 /or 2 x 4hrs sessions at €675 for Club/groups.
