Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a food safety management system that is essential for all successful food businesses. Online HACCP training ensures an understanding for managers, supervisors and employees in how to manage food safety in the workplace and implement an effective HACCP-based management system. Food Handlers and their employers have a legal duty to manage Food Safety. Failing to follow food safety standards can cause food to become contaminated with potentially fatal consequences.

Our Courses

Level 2 HACCP €35

Designed to give workers knowledge of the processes needed to maintain food safety in the workplace, enabling organisations to comply with the European Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs.

This course provides an in-depth insight into key terms surrounding food safety, identifying critical control points as well as analysing key hazards. It also covers information on how to prevent cross-contamination in the food chain.

Level 3 HACCP €135

Designed for managers and supervisors wishing to manage the HACCP food safety management system (FSMS), ensuring that their business legally complies with European Regulation No 852/2004 on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs.

This course examines topics including types of food hazards, personal hygiene, pest control, legislation, enforcement, and the design and cleaning of premises and equipment.

Allergen Awareness €35

Latest statistics from the Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute (INDI) show that approximately 5% of children and 3% of adults suffer from food allergies. As a result, it is imperative we are aware about general allergies, food allergies and also food intolerances.

This course provides this essential information along with covering practical steps to reducing the risk from allergens and also what steps can be taken both internally and externally to monitor the control measures.

Level 1 HACCP Food Safety €30

The three sectors provided for when dealing with Level 1 Awards in Food Safety are Retail, Catering, and Manufacturing.

Suitable for:

  • New employees or employees with no prior food safety training.
  • Front of house employees i.e.waiters/ check out staff.
  • Back of House employees i.e. kitchen porters/ warehouse staff.
