This is a Fetac Certified First Aid Course facilitated by one of our senior registered Instructors. The certificates are valid for two years from date of training.
The aim of the course is to give you the skills and knowledge necessary to assist in case of accident or emergency.

The course covers the four main life threatening conditions that can happen anytime without warning which you could be faced with at any time at work or at home:
- Heart Attack
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest
- Choking Casualty
The focus of the course is from the Irish Heart Foundation core module on CPR & AED use along with other medical emergencies such as: Asthma, Bleeding Casualty, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Aspirin Administration, Tooth Loss, Chain of Survival etc.
Participants will receive the Statutory Recognised FETAC Level 5 Certification. This is the only Certificate recognised by the HSA (Health & Safety Authority) .The certification is valid for two years upon completion.(Participants will have a 3 month period at the end of the two years to take the refresher course or the Full Course will need to be re-taken).
Participants will be issued with Full Certification from First Aid Direct and is valid for 2 years.
