This 1 day comprehensive first aid course provides each candidate with the fundamental practical and recommended life-saving skills to deal with an emergency situation. Candidates will be provided with a detailed insight into emergency first aid and learn how to practice a wide variety of basic first aid skills that will allow them to deal both competently and confidently with common illnesses and injuries.
This First Aid Direct approved course has been designed in accordance with Health and Safety (HSA) legislation and fulfils all obligations enclosed within ‘The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007’.
**IMPORTANTLY: An alternative option, is our certified Emergency First Aid at Work. Customers to date have found this online course to be both cost and time effective. It is an interactive course that provides candidates with the fundamental practical and recommended life-saving skills to deal with an emergency situation.
Who should attend?
This course is intended for those who wish to gain an understanding of first aid required in an emergency situation. According to the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, it requires employers to provide the necessary first aid training within the workplace. Typically, it includes people in offices, hospitality, teachers, parents, and also those involved in sport.
Cost
- Public instructor led training in our facility in Dublin 24 is €160 per person.
- Private instructor led training onsite is €535 per session. With the price broken down, it costs €44.58 per person (max of 12 people).
