Level 1 Food Safety (HACCP)
This HACCP training online course is based on the HACCP criteria set down by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland's Guide to Food Safety Training at Level 1. On completion of this HACCP Food Safety training course, participants will be able to understand their requirements under Irish food safety legislation as well as following best food safety practice guidelines.
The Level 1 Awards in Food Safety provide an ideal solution to staff induction training including:
- New employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge
- Employees handling low-risk or wrapped foods (category A)
- Front of house employees, such as waiting or check out staff
- Back of house employees, such as kitchen porters or warehouse staff
The duration of the course is 50 minutes of instructor led video content, with additional time required for answering interactive questions throughout the course.

HACCP Level 2
Designed to give workers knowledge of the processes needed to maintain food safety in the workplace, enabling organisations to comply with the European Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the Hygiene of Foodstuffs.
This course provides an in-depth insight into key terms surrounding food safety, identifying critical control points as well as analysing key hazards. It also covers information on how to prevent cross-contamination in the food chain.
The Level 2 Awards in Food Safety provide an ideal solution to staff induction training including:
- New employees with minimal or no prior food safety knowledge.
- Employees handling low-risk or wrapped foods (category A).
- Front of house employees, such as waiting or check out staff.

HACCP Level 3
Our Level 3 HACCP training course is designed to assist managers and supervisors to food safety and hygiene issues. This HACCP training online course is based on the training principles as set out by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland’s ‘Guide to Food Safety at level 3’.
It is important to note that there is a legal requirement, under European Regulation (EC) No 852/2004, for all food handlers to complete food safety training compatible with their duties.
On completion of this food safety training course, participants will be able to understand their management requirements under Irish food safety legislation in addition to following the best work practices.
This course is aimed at supervisors and first line managers working in the food industry as well as small business owners responsible for running their premises and ensuring their staff are working safely and to the expected standards. It is also a natural progression from the level 2 courses in food safety and HACCP management for those who are taking on more responsibilities.
The duration of the course is 260 minutes of instructor led video content, with additional time required for answering interactive questions throughout the course.
